Our standard automotive connectors are:
WEATHERPAK Connectors, male and female, in 1,2,3,4,and
6 pins, used on GM and other American cars. Weatherpak connectors
are rated at 20 amps per pin at 16 volts D.C.

BOSCH/AMP Connectors, in 2,3,4,5 and 6 pins, used on Porsche, BMW, Audi, and Mercedes cars as well
as later model EFI cars internationally. They are rated at 9 amps per pin. Note: Male connector
housings are only available for the 2 and 3 pin connectors.

DEUTSCH DT Series Connectors, male and female, in 2,3,4,6,8,and 12 pins.
These are the connectors used by virtually every racing team, nationally and internationally,
from NASCAR to F1 to SCCA.
Here's why: They are much more compact, much easier to use, and at least as reliable
if not more so than any of the other connector maker's products. They require no special tools to
assemble or disassemble, and occupy about 1/4 the volume of the Weatherpak connectors, or
1/2 the volume of the Bosch connectors.
They are rated at 15 Amps per pin.

We also carry the crimp terminals, open barrel crimping
tools and wire seals needed to make a complete, waterproof
connector for connecting to existing components
or for connecting two cables. We also carry the terminal
removal tools so you can disassemble the connector.
To see a closeup of a cutaway of a connector, showing
how the terminals are retained in the housing, click

Note that the crimp terminals used for all these connectors are open barrel terminals,
which require a different crimper than that used for regular closed barrel crimp terminals.
Check out the closeup of the open barrel crimper
