Overview:
KayJay's BlackBox ™ Universal Wiring Harnesses kits have features that make them the best choice for a universal harness, because they provide you with the easiest and fastest way to wire a car with top quality wire and parts.

It is faster because you can wire the car from the "outside in", (i.e. from the lights, switches etc to the fuse box), which is how most of the experts do it.

If you get a harness kit with the wires already attached to the fuse box, then you have to wire your car from the "inside out", (i.e. from the fuseholder out to the lights, switches, etc.), which is more difficult. ( think of dancing with an octopus. Under your dash.) Also, when you have to re-route a wire, and you will, it is easier if you have access to both ends of the wire, not just one.

It's also easier because you lay out and connect wire one wire at a time, instead of having to lay out all the wires at once.

You also get the cleanest looking installation possible.

We have harnesses for every need, whether you are a professional wiring a car for a customer or it’s your car and you want to do it yourself and do it right.

The harnesses range from small 8 circuit units for racers to 20 circuit units with turn & hazard flashers, (or a turn signal control system, see below), and a horn relay.

The BlackBox ™ is based on either an K0501 kit ( 8 fuse, 8 circuit), K0502 (12 fuse, 16 circuit) or K0503 (20 fuse, 24 circuit) Fuse Block, mounted in an aluminum housing, with the leads connecting to terminal blocks within the box. This allows a very clean, compact, professional installation.
The BlackBox™ is available with a high-precision die cast aluminum housing. The aluminum housing is available in Polished Aluminum, Brushed Aluminum (Shown), or Black (powdercoated) finish.
The BlackBox™ comes standard with clamp-type terminal blocks mounted in the box.
The terminal blocks allow the unit to be wired “outside in”. There is more info on the clamp-type terminal blocks elsewhere in the site.

BlackBox™ Relay Boxes
This unit provides you with a clean looking way to install relays for controlling cooling fans, fuel pumps, doors, or whatever else may be needed.

This unit includes either four 40 amp relays or six 30 amp relays. The relays are field replaceable.

The BlackBox™ Relay Box is housed in a 2-3/8 x 4-3/8 x 1-1/16 inch die cast aluminum housing, with a brushed aluminum finish, with 16 gauge wires 3 ft long attached.

K0508 BlackBox™ Turn Signal Side Marker Controller
This controller provides a means to have your side markers flash in synch with your turn signals. When just the normal lighting is on, they are light as is normal, but when you turn on your turn signals, the side marker lights will flash with the turn signals.

K0509 BlackBox™ Electric Fan DamperDiode Kit
This kit uses a high power diode to prevent the electric cooling fan from keeping the engine running for the few seconds that the fan takes to wind down. (If the engine and fan are on, the fan can provide enough power to keep the engine running for several seconds after the ignition switch is turned off.)
